Choosing the right tent — frame, stretch, or pole

Not all tents are equal. The three styles we hire — frame, stretch, and pole — each have a personality, and picking the right one saves you money, time, and stress.

Frame tents

Frame tents are self-supporting: no interior poles, no ropes cluttering the aisle. Best for hard surfaces, tight venues, or when you want an unobstructed view of the stage.

Stretch tents

Our favourite for gardens. Organic silhouettes, incredible with uplighting, and generous overhang for guest comfort. They wrap around trees, drop over slopes, and photograph beautifully at dusk.

Pole tents

The classic peaked look. Elegant, tall, and roomy — but they need soft ground for staking and clear space around the perimeter for the guy ropes.
